With some models, buyers can add hull curves and performance just like with glass or wood boats. One detriment of

aluminum fishing boats is that the broad bow of its hull causes spray to be directed upward, causing a soaked and rough riding experience. Also, repairing a damaged aluminum boat involves a complex process.

With all their individual merits and imperfections and the age-old which-is-better argument, boat sales still hold the answer as to which of the two is being seen as the better alternative. The fact that aluminum fishing boats maintain their lead is proof that buyers appear to favor price to any other part when selecting a fishing boat.
